Berlin based photographer and artist Stefan Heuser does not show the bright and sunny side of life in his works. Since the beginning of his career he has been fascinated by the dark side of everyone’s mind. Accordingly, his pictures and installations portray a dark and dense atmosphere with strong contrasts - reminiscent of the film noir. Shadows rule the photos, revealing only fragmented glimpses into the true nature. Stefan Heuser often crosses the line between art and fashion photography.

New media was integrated by Stefan Heuser specifically in the use of facebook for his latest photo series (www.facebook.com/StilettoM) as an online gallery while the work is still in progress. This communication with the community is appreciated by the artist and used to inform the ongoing creative process.
